Management Philosophy

Supporting a prosperous future from everyday life.

Air Surf Co., Ltd. operates on three main pillars: motor, energy, and IT,
We are a company that gently regulates the “power sources that exist close to daily life.”
On this page, we discuss how we work from different perspectives,
We will convey where we are headed in three words: Mission, Vision, and Value.

Power is not the goal in itself.
It is the ‘behind-the-scenes’ presence that generates electricity, moves things, and makes life possible.
Quietly, lightly, and gently tidy up the underside.
That is our goal.

Corporate Statement

Mission — Mission

Shaping the Earth’s future with power that supports daily life.

The motor, energy, and IT technologies we provide are all about “power.”
Refrigerators in kitchens, oxygen concentrators in hospitals, electric cars driving through town, compressors in factories,
The power behind it is invisible to the human eye.
Because it’s invisible, we plan for another kind of quietness, another lightness, and another energy saving,
I believe that the presence of designers is essential for Dingning.

Recently, terms like “zero carbon,” “molick shift,” and “energy transition” are used worldwide.
However, what happens on site is a pile of modest improvements like “a little lighter,” “a little quieter,” and “a little longer.”
Each of these is handled by the company as a work of lending evaluation equipment, joint development, OEM supply, distributed energy design, and remote plant monitoring,
We proceed carefully.

Vision — Vision

By 2050, we will enter a society where children can laugh at “electricity is normal.”

By 2050, the world should have significantly reduced its dependence on fossil fuels.
At that point, adults might say, “Finally, carbon neutrality.”
However, children born around that time probably take for granted that “electricity comes from renewable energy.”

We create that ‘normal’ in today, this week, and this month’s work.
Today’s several kWh improvements, this week’s blueprint, and this month’s one evaluation device loan,
We will create the “smiles of children” 25 years from now.
Not as a slogan, but as a company sending out strength, we are committed to this vision.

Value — Value

These are three guiding principles to turn Mission and Vision into daily decision-making.
Design, product planning, recruitment, and customer interactions are all used as the standard for every aspect.

01 Thinking from the perspective of daily life

I won’t start with the spec list. We start designing from whose and what kind of daily work it will work for.

“Efficiency ○○%” and “Noise reduction ○○ dB” alone are not enough to make decisions for customers on site. We translate and present it as a sense of daily life, such as “the electricity in XX houses in a household floating” or “the sound of XX refrigerators disappearing.” Before opening the specification, I go ask about the users’ daily lives. That is the entry point into our design process.

02 Passing on to the Next Generation

We do not distort technology selection based on quarterly targets. Decisions are made based on whether they will remain 20 years from now or 50 years from now.

The fully rotating balanced cylinder device is something our representative has been researching for 20 years. We record the long accumulation of fundamental research and ingenuity in a way that can be passed on to the next generation of engineers. We design everything from dashboards, evaluation reports, code, circuits, and prototypes to the idea of ‘the person who will read tomorrow’ in mind.

03 Gently and Persistently

Rather than flashy innovations, we build up improvements that continue smoothly every day.

Kind to people, the environment, and even our customers’ work. The technologies we choose, the jobs we choose, and the customer relationships we choose are all measured by this one word. Meetings should be kept to a minimum in length and frequency, providing long-term consulting that does not burden the client’s site — that is the design to “continue.”

What is embodied

Mission, Vision, and Value live not just in words, but in our daily work.

  • Rental of evaluation devices is generally free of charge. Data sharing is the minimum requirement, ensuring that customer decisions are not compromised
  • Business systems are delivered in a way that allows documentation, code, and prototypes to be used as a single asset, allowing them to be used continuously without relying on people
  • Presentations at academic conferences, exhibitions, and professional journals are conducted during business hours to publicly demonstrate the recognition of the technology
  • The office is quiet, and meetings are kept to a minimum. That is building a team to “focus on the backside.”
